ILS Slovakia developed the patented HIT – Horizontal Intermodal Transshipment system. It enables the fully automated transfer of all containers between road and rail in around 20 minutes without structural changes to trucks or wagons, including operation beneath electric traction lines. The system received an Excellence Award and third place at Startup in Shanghai 2025.

About the project

The Slovak National Pavilion at InnoTrans 2026 is organised by the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) as part of the national project Support for the Internationalisation of SMEs 2.

The project supports Slovak micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in entering foreign markets, developing export activities and building international business partnerships. The joint national exhibition gives participating companies a shared platform to present technologies, products and solutions to an international professional audience.

InnoTrans is a global meeting point for railway technology, transport infrastructure, public transport, interiors and tunnel construction. The 2026 edition takes place at Messe Berlin from 22 to 25 September.
